The powers that be in U.S. Soccer have created a poisonous divide between the MLS players and the so-called “European” players, and until that culture is torn down, the USMNT will continue to slide backwards.

Chicago Fire Juniors South 06 PA and Red came back from Vegas with a great experience and the Red team with a championship trophy at the Vegas Cup! I give a lot of credit to the players for showing up to compete and representing Illinois.

Both teams played really well but unfortunately for the PA the ball wouldn't find the back of the net to give them the points necessary to advance.

The Red had an excellent performance and topped it off with their best game for the final winning 3-0 and keeping their first clean sheet and having a golazo as the game winning goal (player flicks ball over defender to volley it into goal).

Want to say thanks to my TMs for helping with organizing the hotel, team meals, meetings and all the little things that go into organizing a trip like this. It goes a long way to make the trip very enjoyable for the players and parents.

Finally, thanks for the parents for willing to give their child this experience because it's trips like these where memories are made.

Chicago Fire Juniors South 06 Boys getting ready for their tournament in Vegas. Boys then had a team dinner at Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas where they enjoyed German cuisine and music.

Chicago Fire 03B Elite won their third game 3-0 but it wasn't enough to advance to semis. They played much better as tourney went on but not having the cohesion in our first game cost is.
