It has been almost a week since the last race of the season. Jaden and Estevan learned a ton about these cars along with myself. We are hoping that next season will be better. Have to give a big thank you to Brandon Schilling and John for giving my boys the opportunity to race this season. Also a big thank you to Tom, JR, and Brian for the help at the shop and at the track.

It has been a while since we have posted on this page. Estevan and Jaden had a race this past Saturday night at Tucson Speedway.
Jaden driving the Blue #30 Bandolero had a solid night of racing until a mechanical failure forced him to pull off the track. I have always told my boys that if the car didn’t feel right then pull off the track and we will race another day. Jaden had done just what I told him and pulled off.

Estevan has another solid night in the Grey Ghost Legend #44. He started P2 and initially fell asleep at the start and lost 2 positions managed to recover and drive to a P4 finish. He is still learning to drive with a clutch but other than that he is learning every something new every time he is in the seat and gives me valuable feed back on what changes if any he wants to the car.

Overall I am very proud of my boys and look forward to our next race.

Attention all fans of E J Silvas Racing. We are moving up in the World of Racing!!! We will no longer be racing Quarter Midgets. Kind of sad but also extremely excited for the upcoming future.

Jaden has officially hung up his steering wheel and will no longer be racing (unless its at the Autobahn). Although he has expressed interest in wanting to help his brother.

Estevan will be in this stock car hopefully sometime this summer. We have had many good times racing at TQMA and at VSQMA throughout the years. Meet some wonderful families and created lots of friends along the way.
We want to thank every one that has help us along the way.
Estevan has requested that his final Quarter Midget race be at The Winter Nationals in Las Vegas and I see no problem in letting that happen.

So thank you to all of our Quarter Midget Families and be safe have fun. We are going to miss you all.

Its a good start to the 2015 Winter Nationals. Jaden just finished 2nd in his heat. He will be racing on Sunday in the A Main. Now all we need is Estevan to follow. It will be a tough task but he is up for it. We are racing with some of the best racers from around the country.

So the boys had a rough start to the day. Jaden rear ended a car and broke 2 front shocks, bent a few radius rods , and both front spindles. Made the repairs on his car and got him out just in time for the A Main and finished 5th. All he needs is a little more aggressiveness and we should build on it for tomorrow.

Estevan had his brake pedal get stuck and I finally figured out where it was binding and fixed it to a 2nd place finish in the A Main.

Not a bad start to the weekend. We will be back at it tomorrow.

Cars are loaded and ready to race tomorrow at Valley of th Sun QMA. After a little more than 3 months away from the track Estevan and Jaden will take on South Mountain Speedway ( a drivers track) and attempt at the track record. Estevan will be in Hvy160 for the first time and Jaden in Jr. Novice.
