Stetson Wright❤️ is back.

After spending the last month recovering from surgery to repair a separated shoulder and torn meniscus and PCL in his knee, Wright is set to return to the arena tonight in his home state of Utah at the Cache County Fair and Rodeo in Logan.
Wright currently leads the PRCA All-Around standings and sits No. 3 in the Saddle Bronc Riding standings and No. 6 in Bull Riding.
Now, the 10-time World Champion is back in the arena and looking to make his push toward the top of the standings before the end of the season.

Seems like 89.5 has been the magic score for all rough stock winners at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in 2026. And it was Ryder Wright who earned the magic saddle bronc riding score today in Round 3 to take home first place. His brother Statler ended up in the 5 hole with a score of 87.

Superman better known as Stetson Wright in the PRORODEO world – isn't invincible from injury.
Wright, the 10-time PRCA World Champion, had surgery on July 14 in Cedar City, Utah, to repair a torn meniscus and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his knee. The surgery was performed by Dr. Randy G. Delcore.
"For everyone asking about my schedule, I won't have one for a little while," said Wright in a social media post Wednesday. I had a tough few weeks (get offs) leading up to Calgary, followed by the championship round in Calgary. Unfortunately, I got bucked off and separated my shoulder. I tore my meniscus and PCL in my knee. Thankfully, it went well (July 14) thanks to Dr. Delcore's expertise. I'll be back riding in no time. I'm excited about the time God gave me off to spend with my tiny tornado (Kingsley) & my family. I'll be back in a flash."
Wright competed in the bull riding championship round at the Calgary Stampede July 12 and was bucked off.
Cody Wright, Stetson's father, and ProRodeo Hall of Fame saddle bronc rider, said Stetson rides left-handed in saddle bronc riding and bull riding and he separated his right shoulder, which is his free arm.
"He (Stetson) is taking a 10-day (doctor release) now, and he is going to play it by ear and see how he feels after that," Cody said to the PRORODEO Sports News.
Cody said Stetson is hoping to return to action in saddle bronc riding and bull riding at the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo, Aug. 2 in Castle Rock, Colo.
According to Cody, Stetson's knee had been troublesome for a while.
"They cleaned it up, and his meniscus was hanging up in there and causing him grief," Cody said. "Normally those don't cause you any trouble but the way this one was, it kept hanging up, catching, and causing him troubles. That's what kind of inspired the (knee) surgery is the shoulder needed some rest.
"The knee had been bugging him, and he had just been dealing with it, but he figured it had been affecting his riding."
Prior to his latest surgery, Wright had been slowed because of injuring a disc in his back during the Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho, June 20.
As of July 15, Stetson was leading the PRCA | Bill Fick Ford World Standings in the all-around race with $311,787 and saddle bronc riding ($202,003) and was third in bull riding at $175,054.
Wright has won 10 PRCA World Championships – all-around, 2019-23, and 2025; saddle bronc riding 2021; and bull riding, 2020, 2022 and 2025.
