This feels like a REALLY important offseason for Tre Tucker šš„
Because for the first time since entering the league, it sounds like the Raiders coaching staff isnāt viewing him as just a āfast gadget guyā anymore. Klint Kubiak talking about leadership, consistency and becoming a true playmaker says a LOT about how the building currently views Tucker.
And honestly? Raiders fans have BEEN waiting for this jump. Everybody already knew the speed was real. Defenses respect him vertically every single snap because one mistake and heās gone. But the biggest question has always been whether he could evolve into a complete offensive weapon instead of just flashes and big plays.
What stands out most from Kubiakās comments is the āquiet leaderā part. Coaches donāt casually throw leadership labels onto young players unless they genuinely trust their preparation and professionalism behind the scenes. That usually means Tuckerās doing all the little things right during meetings, conditioning, walkthroughs and film work. š
And if this offense actually opens up under Kubiak the way people expect? Tucker could be one of the biggest winners on the roster. Motion packages, play-action, space concepts and vertical shots fit his skillset PERFECTLY.
The scary part for defenses is that if Tucker develops even a more reliable intermediate route tree and becomes more physical after the catch, his speed suddenly becomes impossible to scheme against consistently. š³
Feels like the Raiders are quietly preparing fans for a breakout season.
