π₯π₯ YOUR KARATE JOURNEY BELONGS TO YOU.
Not your organization.
Not your federation.
Not someone sitting in an office deciding where you should or should not compete.
YOU.
Athletes should be free to compete where they want, when they want, and against whomever they want.
No athlete, coach, official or volunteer should feel threatened, pressured, or intimidated because they chose to support another organizationβs tournament.
Competition makes all of us better.
More opponents.
More styles.
More experiences.
More time on the tatami.
More opportunities to grow.
That is what karate organizations should be encouraging.
Organizations should create opportunities β not walls.
At the 2027 North American Open, we don't care what patch is on your uniform, what organization issued your membership card, or which federation you normally compete with.
If you practice karate, you are welcome.
π All organizations welcome.
π₯ All styles welcome.
π€ Independent dojos welcome.
π Traditional and sport karate welcome.
βΏ Inclusive athletes welcome.
π Competitors from around the world welcome.
There are enough divisions in karate already.
We don't need organizations creating more of them.
Come compete. Meet new people. Face new opponents. Challenge yourself.
Because at the end of the dayβ¦
π₯ YOUR KARATE JOURNEY BELONGS TO YOU.
