STLV Junior Bowlers We are a prominent youth bowling league in east Las Vegas, bowling at Sam’s Town Bowling Center.

We have three divisions for children ranging from 3-18 years old with opportunities for kids to earn scholarship funds for post secondary education.

Our Summer 2026 Scholarship Total is official!
We are handing out $10,163 in scholarship money to our Youth Bowlers for the Summer Season, between our Saturday Morning program and our Tuesday night Adult/Youth League!!

Our Youths on Tuesday get to earn BONUS scholarship for beating a coach!!! That's my favorite!!

🎳 AGE-OUT SPOTLIGHT 🎳

Cayson Lapito is an 18 year old two-hander, and came to us just a few seasons ago after his brother decided to start bowling and talked him into joining our league. Cayson also bowled for the Foothill High School bowling team. His average is 155 in our Elite league, and his best game was 257!

Cayson’s favorite color is Sage Green, he loves a good pazookie, and his favorite superhero is Spider-Man. In his spare time, he loves to bowl!

When Cayson was little, he wanted to be a math teacher. He still wants to work with numbers, but has since broadened his goal, and now wants to go to college in 6 months for business and day trading!

Follow your dreams, Cayson, we know you’ll be successful in whatever you do! Come back and say hi to us little people, too!

🎳 AGE-OUT SPOTLIGHT 🎳

Katelyn Baker is 18. She started bowling after the 2020 shutdown with her family at Sunset Station, and quickly moved to our youth league when she was 13. She averages 152 in our Elite league, and her high score is 236!

Katelyn’s favorite color is dark green, her favorite food is Japanese, and her favorite superheroes are Black Widow and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.

Katelyn loves drawing, reading, writing, and acting. When she was little, she wanted to be the first female president. Now she hopes to create films to bring awareness to human trafficking and other global issues. Katelyn plans to work with the local emergency services as a dispatcher, and is working towards starting her film degree program next fall.

We look forward to seeing your name pop up on our screens in the future, Katelyn! Don’t be a stranger, and never forget your roots!

🎳 AGE-OUT SPOTLIGHT 🎳

Sage Ruston is 18, and has been bowling with STLV Junior Bowlers and Sunset Station since he was 13. He averages 150 in our Elite league, and his personal record is 237!

Sage’s favorite color is blue, his favorite food is sushi, he loves to draw, and his superhero is his grandpa. When Sage was little, he wanted to be an artist, and now he wants to work in cyber security.

Go and catch those scammers, Sage!! We’re rooting for you! And come back to visit every once in a while!

Awards day is one of my favorite days!!!! We had some laughs, some tears with 4 baby adults aging out of youth, and lots of FUN!!
But most importantly, Today we handed out OVER $7,600 in scholarship money for our “little” 14 week youth program with just over 60 kids!! Not too bad for a summer league! 😉😏

I’m so proud of these kids! I love acknowledging each and every kid’s high game of the season and extra attention to the ones who stood out for their perseverance!!

My heart is full! ❤️🤍🖤🤍❤️

Most Improved Bowler is one of my FAVORITE awards to give out on Awards day!! I get goose bumps EVERY time I announce Most Improved, boy and girl for each division!!

They get BONUS scholarship amounts for earning this award!
Our Pinions earn $7 each, Seniors warn $15 each and Elite earns $20!! This is the most that is designated for season ending categories! This is one award I feel should celebrate the bowlers hard work!!!

Our season ended yesterday, so it’s time to get awards and scholarship totals situated!! Spreadsheets make this so much easier!!

Now on to finish these totals so we can see how much we are handing out for our 14 week season!!! 😁😁

How do we calculate or Scholarship amounts?? With ALOT of formulas!! 😂

With our Summer Season about to close, it’s time to clean up our spreadsheets and formula check!!

While we have multiple “add ons” to scholarship amounts we always start with a “base” amount!
We ALWAYS start with a BASE of 70% OF TOTAL DUES PAID! YES, you read that correctly!! 70% of the total amount the parent paid for the youth for that season, including lineage!!!!
As you can see, we have a pretty detailed spreadsheet to help us with this!! We LOVE a good spreadsheet and workbook around here!! 🤓🤓

Our position round is this coming Saturday, so we don’t have final totals YET, but we KNOW… we will be handing out MORE than $5500 this summer season…. 🥳🥳
Just wait until all the tabs at the bottom get calculated in the totals!!

We are able to give back so much money to the kids thanks to the fundraising AND ALL OF THE AMAZING people who donate to our program!! Between cash donations, fundraising and whatever items we get that we can raffle, we always have AMAZING support!! All of that money comes right back to the kids, for scholarship!!! THANK YOU to everyone who supports our “little” program!! My heart is full because you help us give back to the kids!!! Without you we wouldn’t be able to do as much as we do!!! THANK YOU!!!
