Peyton Januik Motorsports A girl, her dog and her race car � Peyton Januik isn't your average 21-year-old. Peyton's first venture into racing on asphalt was in an NHRA Jr.

The Las Vegas native started racing quads at the Sand Drags when she was three and a half, and these days, she can be found behind the wheel of a quick-and-fast dragster that she races on the big-money bracket racing circuit and in NHRA Super Comp. dragster when she was 11. Although there will always be a tug in her heart to the days of sand, the third-generation racer found her groove on the pave

d drag strip. She's grown to become an avid bracket racer who has also been competitive in Jr. Comp and Top Dragster. In 2022, Peyton is dialed in to giving the tough world of bracket racing her best shot, and she'll do so with her mom, Tiffany, by her side. The two are breaking the mold as one of the few mother-daughter teams in drag racing that prepare the racecar, crew during the events, and win together: Peyton claimed the electronics victory at the 2020 Street Car Super Nationals. While Peyton manages the data and anything mathematical in her racing, Tiffany leads the charge on the mechanical side of things – but daughter looks to mother for more than mechanical guidance. She also leans into her example of how to effectively adapt, despite any of the many challenges that come with competitive racing. Tiffany set the example for Peyton early as she herself overcame the odds and dominated as a competitor in a male-driven category in the world of sand drag racing. On the NHRA side of things, Peyton has found her niche in the extremely competitive Super Comp category, where drivers aim to hit a targeted index in the quarter-mile. High altitude racetracks like The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which Peyton calls home, have competitors aim for 9.05-second in the quarter mile, while typical tracks target 8.90. When she isn't racing or preparing her race car, Peyton attends Dixie State University in Saint George, Utah, where she is pursuing a study in marketing. In the future, Peyton intends to use her experience and education to help fellow drivers gain visibility in an arena where professional nitro racing has often taken the top spot.
