If you’re trying to lose fat, add some muscle, & even have some abs to compliment it all, it’s important to remember that those are 3 separate goals, all requiring various training methods & nutritional phases. I’ve achieved 200lbs with visible abs.. the new goal is 220lbs with abs, unfortunately that means I’ll have to accept having no abs while I gain that extra 20lbs of muscle.. & to gain 20lbs of muscle requires me to gain 30+ pounds of total weight, much of which won’t be lean muscle tissue. Once I’ve reached that target weight, then I’ll start slowly tweaking my diet & training regimen, with the goal of losing as much fat, whilst preserving as much of that new muscle mass as possible. Focus on☝️part of the project at a time. You have to build the house before you can decorate it.
