Too often, wrestlers and their parents get caught up in rankings, titles, recognition, popularity, and being the “best.” While those things can be rewarding, they should never become the ultimate goal. The real goal should be constant improvement—building discipline, consistency, effort, and character while using wrestling as a pathway to college and, ultimately, a successful career. The goal isn’t to be ranked; the goal is to keep getting better and create opportunities for your future.
