There was so much more to rebuilding than what you see here.

There were tears (lots of them).

Therapy.
Coaching.
Self-coaching.
Hard conversations.
Hard realizations.

Learning to feel my emotions and not run from them or shaming myself for having them.

Changing my thinking.

Trying again after setbacks.

Choosing myself over and over again.

These moments were built on so many quiet decisions that no one else ever saw.

And little by little, those decisions became a life I really love waking up to.

Now I help other women rebuild and love their lives too.

Don’t worry. I meditated and cleared my chakras the next day. 😂

All jokes aside…

When I hit rock bottom, I made a decision about my life.

I wanted more play
More fun
More expression
More joy

I wanted to laugh more
Dance more
Say yes to life more

Sometimes healing looks like crying and breakthroughs (and I love a good breakthrough).

And sometimes it looks like laughing your ass off with a friend you love at a kiddie park after one too many. 🤪

And honestly… I highly recommend it.

If you’re rebuilding your life after rock bottom…

Let’s build you the life you actually want.

There was a time I believed every freaking story my brain told me.

That my life was over
That I wasn’t enough
That I was failing

None of those were facts, but they were the meanings I’d attached to what was happening in my life at the time.

When I learned to separate what happened from the stories I was telling myself, it changed everything for me.

It didn’t erase my grief or my heartbreak, but it did give me the freedom to start making some different choices.

And those different choices are what helped me to rebuild my life.

💖 If you’re rebuilding after rock bottom, I’d love to help. Book a free consult. Let’s talk!

Life has been really full lately.

Full of performing, running a race, filming a movie, dancing, dressing up, time with friends, and more.

New experiences. New opportunities. New fun.

One of my mottos has always been to say yes to life.

But what I’m learning lately is that saying yes to life goes far beyond saying yes to what’s exciting.

It’s also saying yes to the maybe more uncomfortable moments, too.

Yes to the emotion that wants to be felt.

Yes to softening my grip on the things I want to control.

Yes to letting go of beliefs that no longer fit.

Yes to trusting myself when I don’t have all the answers.

Yes to being seen.

Yes to rest.

Yes to uncertainty.

Yes to doing it anyway.

The more I practice this, the more I realize that life isn’t asking us to have everything figured out.

It’s simply asking us to stay open enough to say yes and experience it. In whatever way that may be.

I do believe that’s where so much of the magic of life actually lives.

We just have to be open to saying yes to it. 💖✨

A couple weeks ago I ran Bay to Breakers in a neon wig, makeup, lashes, and a tulle skirt.

And honestly? I had a freakin’ blast.

Every time I run a race, I’m reminded of life. That we’re all running our own race towards something that matters to us.

A dream.
A goal.
A relationship.
A business.
A version of ourselves we haven’t met yet.

Sometimes we’re flying.
Sometimes we’re struggling.

Sometimes we’re looking around wondering why everyone else seems so far ahead of us.

And sometimes we’re convinced we’re doing it all wrong. Or that maybe we should quit.

But here’s what racing always reminds me:
Everyone is running their own race.

Their own course.
Their own pace.
Their own challenges.
Their own timeline.

Your job isn’t to compare your race against anyone else’s, it’s to trust yourself enough to keep running your own.

To navigate the hills, to keep going when things get uncomfortable, to believe in yourself when you can’t yet see the finish line.

And that’s what courage really is, isn’t it?

Not knowing exactly how it’s all going to work out, but continuing to move forward anyway.

One step.
One mile.
One decision at a time.

And whether it takes you six months or six years to reach the thing you’re after…

You still deserve the damn medal.

And yes, that damn banana at the end too. 🍌😉

What are you running towards that matters enough to keep going, even when it’s hard?

I’d love to know in the comments.
