🏒 GREAT HOCKEY. GREAT PEOPLE. GREATER CAUSE. ❤️
What an incredible day.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in today’s Delirious Hockey Club Charity Skate benefiting Sin City FD Sports, co-sponsored by Delirious Comedy Club and Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino!
From the skaters and spectators to everyone who joined us for lunch at Brooksy’s, bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, volunteered, sponsored the event, or simply supported us from afar—you showed what can happen when a group of people comes together for a great cause.
And together, WE RAISED $2,300 FOR SIN CITY FD SPORTS! 🎉🏒🚒
The skate itself was exactly what we hoped it would be: fun, friendly and competitive enough to make everybody want to win—but never lose sight of why we were there in the first place.
Sin City FD Sports brings together firefighters from throughout the Las Vegas Valley through competitive sports while promoting mental wellness, physical conditioning and stronger relationships within the fire service.
It was an honor for Delirious Comedy Club and Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino to help support their mission and bring our community together for such a worthwhile cause.
And we couldn't have done it without the incredible generosity of so many people and local businesses.
Our raffle was packed with prizes including a Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino staycation, Las Vegas show tickets, dinners at Butcher & Thief and Carson Kitchen, GOLFTEC and Golf Oasis prizes, hockey jerseys and sticks, spa and dermatology packages, wine, gift certificates and so much more.
Every donated prize, every $1 raffle ticket, every lunch, every skater and every person who showed up helped make a difference.
A special thank you to Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino for partnering with Delirious Comedy Club to co-sponsor the event, along with Brooksy’s Bar & Grill, Las Vegas Ice Center, our prize donors, players, volunteers, friends and everyone who helped make the day possible.
For me, one of the best things about today wasn't the final score or who took home the trophy.
It was looking around the rink and later at lunch and realizing how many great people have become part of this little hockey family.
I'm truly honored to be part of this group, but even more grateful to consider so many of you friends.
Sometimes giving back doesn't have to be complicated.
You get some friends together.
You lace up the skates.
You share some laughs.
You buy a few raffle tickets.
You break bread together.
And suddenly you've raised $2,300 for a great organization.
That's a pretty good day.
$2,300 raised.
A great day on the ice.
A lot of laughs.
And an even better cause.
Thank you to everyone who made it happen.
Great hockey. Great food. Great people. Greater cause. 🏒❤️🚒
