We’re officially back! After a long and tough year the Wildcats were finally allowed back at Harper Field. This year the Cats will have an abbreviated season with not much practice time. However, the Cats will take what they can get. Saturday the Cats held tryouts. After the tryouts the boys played a Red and Black game. It was certainly different this year, there was no time to play a whole series, but Coach Thomas wanted to keep the long running Red and Black Series tradition going so the 2021 Wildcats played a one game winner take all Red and Black Game. It was a great game that came down to the final at bat. Black Team Captain, Ysmael Zamora, knocked in the winning run giving the Black Team the 4-5 victory. Red Team Captain Joel Lindahl had his team ready but came up just a little short. We look forward to a great Wildcat Season. Hopefully we will be able to see you at the ballpark!

Wildcats open the season with a 6-1 victory over Sierra Vista HS. Great job boys keep working hard. The St George Tournament has been canceled so the next game will be Monday the 16th at Harper Field vs Green Valley HS at 3:30. See ya there.

Today the cats finished a successful intramural season with the 2 mile run. Good job to the boys that made it under the 13:30 mark. All others we will see you on the track tomorrow. Reminder tryouts Saturday at 8AM for Varsity at Harper Field. 9AM for JV at Harney Middle School. Good Luck Cats.

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped with the annual Wildcat Golf Tournament. It was a big success with lots of fun and some greatly appreciated donations coming in to help the program. Big thanks to all the Golfers and people who donated prizes. Your generosity is what helps the program be successful.

Championship of the Red and Black series ends in another 1 run game. The Black Team edges Red 5-4 in the finale. Good job boys. Back at it Monday at 2 PM.

Red and Black Series has been very good, with competitive games. Both teams playing well with the series tied at 2 games a piece. Game 1 decided by 2 runs and games 2,3,4 decided by only 1 run each. Championship game will be Friday at 10 AM. Good luck to both teams. Hope to see you all at Harper Field to support the Cats!

Today was game one of the 22nd annual Red and Black Series. Red Team is captained by Layne Adaro and the Black Team is captained by Trevor Johnson. Both are returning starters and 3 year varsity players. Good game by both sides with Adaro and the Red Team coming out victorious. Good Job fellas. Game 2 on Monday at 10 AM.

Another week of intramurals down. Keep working cats. Back at it Monday. Reminder Booster Club Meeting Monday December 16th 6PM in the School Library.

Rained out on the field today. Great opportunity for some Wildcat Baseball 101 in the classroom followed by a solid workout in the weight room.
