It's been awhile since I have posted on social media. That doesn't mean I haven't been racing. A matter a fact, Im in a kart almost every weekend, all year long. But being 9 years old, I don't have control over my social media, my dad does, and he doesnt like social media and he barley kowns how to work any electronics. So I'm at his mercy to let everyone know how my karting is going.

This weekend was particularly social media worthy. There's a joke that Kart Chaser has said about me on how my number is 4, my last name is 4, and I'm always just short of the podium in 4th. Now I'm no stranger to the podium, but since moving up a class from kid karts I have never been on the top of the podium in any event other than club racing.. Until today at Cup Karts North America at K1 Circuit Whiteland.

I want to give credit to the most important person in my life first, my mom. She was my crew chief this weekend as my dad couldn'tbe there. She drove me to Indiana, worked on my kart, sat in the rain, and provided everything I needed to win. I also wanted to give a big shot out to my team New Gen Motorsport my mechanic Luke, Derich and Nick, and my coach ben. They have been working with me for a while and they have given me all the tools to be successful.

I also wantto thank my sponsors The Throttlestop Millennium Technologies, without them i wouldn't be in a position to succeed.

Next race is this upcoming weekend for my first club race at Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America on Saturday, then Badger Kart Club on Sunday.

I don't have a kart mechanic. I don't have a coach for every race. I don't have a "team", I don't have a teammate to share data with and help me push and draft.  I'm what they call a 'privateer'. This weekend was no different. I once again disrupted an all MPG (team) podium at for

I was fast on Friday on our practice motor. I was fast on Saturday morning on our practice motor. Then came time to put on the race motor and qualify. Well, my motor, which has always been flawless, stopped working properly right before I lined up for qualifying, and didn't do a lap (DNF). I didn't qualify, so I started in back for heat 1. Well, the problem wasn't fixed. I couldn't do a lap (DNF).  Heat 2 starting last, so I did a motor swap. Was second slowest all race and wound up DQ'ed for a clutch engagement in the end anyway. At this point, my dad was ready to go home, but I still wanted to race (I don't give up). He got together with some great people and found out what was wrong with the race motor. FIXED... But I had an uphill battle starting in last for the feature. I was focused and determined, made my way through the field, setting the fastest lap and most times showing more pace than the leaders. I'd make my way to the front from last place on the last lap and fight for the lead. In the end, the talented driver in front of me drove a great defensive line. I couldn't get the pass done. Finished P2 with the hard charger award (made the most positions up).
