Good morning everyone! First I want to take the time and say that these past 15 months have been tough on everyone. Some of us lost family and friends, others fought mental health issues, but everyone struggled one way or another.

As the skies begin to clear and the end of this pandemic is nearly here, I wanted to share some good news with you all.

EPYSA has begun a summer league and Obra A.C will be participating in the U-12 division. We are currently looking for players to play for our team. If your child is 11 or 12 years old, or you know someone whose child is and might be interested in playing, please send us a message to talk more.

Thank you for all your support in the past and if any of you have any questions regarding other divisions or the future of Obra A.C please feel free to reach out to me.

Our first U-14 coach!!!

Jose currently plays for the C.C. Winn High School varsity soccer team and has always sought ways to empower our youth so that they can achieve beyond their dreams. As he reaches his final playing days of his school career, Jose now joins us as he prepares to coach our U-14 development practice. He’s been playing soccer since he was 8 years old in Piedras Negras, Mexico with the , “Academia de Futbol Tigres” and now in Eagle Pass with the 2-time District Champions of C.C. Winn High School. We are thrilled to have him and can't wait what the future has in store for our players!

Actualmente, José juega para el primer equipo de fútbol de la preparatoria C.C. Winn High School y siempre ha buscado formas de empoderar a nuestros jóvenes para que puedan alcanzar más allá de sus sueños. Su carrera escolar de juegar fútbol se acerca sus ultimos dias con cade dia mas que pasa y José ahora se une a nosotros para preparar el entrenamiento de nuestra práctica de desarrollo de la Sub-14. Él ha estado jugando fútbol desde que tenía 8 años en Piedras Negras, México con la "Academia de Futbol Tigres" y ahora en Eagle Pass con los Bi-Campeones de su Distrito, C.C. Winn High School. ¡Estamos encantados de tenerlo y no podemos esperar lo que el futuro tiene reservado para nuestra juventud!

Emaneri, es un orgullo que representes a Dragons FC y a Eagle Pass en la academia del Barcelona FC, y para mi es un orgullo aún más grande el poder ser tu coach. Como jugador has destacado en todos los niveles hasta llegar a estar con nuestro equipo entre los mejores del estado. Gracias por tu dedicación y pasión dentro y fuera de la cancha, eres el motor de nuestro equipo. Como estudiante has conseguido múltiples logros en cuestión académica, quizás y hasta mucho más grandes que lo deportivos. Disfruta esta gran experiencia y demuestra todo tu talento.
