AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A TRAIL RUN!

10 miles in the desert this morning. 🌵⛰️

Some miles felt easy. Some definitely didn’t. 😂
But that’s kind of the point.

Good trails, good views, tired legs, and a few trips along the way. You don’t always need a perfect run — sometimes you just need to get out there and see where the trail takes you.

We’re heading out for a Jackalope 47K Recon trail run/MTB ride and getting some miles in before the sun really comes up. 🌅

🚗 Getting there: Take the Mesquite exit and head toward the mountain. Parking is on the road that leads toward the blocked quarry.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do NOT park on the gas line road or power line road.

Runners from El Paso, Juárez & New Mexico are ALL welcome! 🇺🇸🇲🇽

No registration. No membership. No matter what run club you participate in. You just show up and run or ride! 👊🏽

If you’ve been wanting to check out the Jackalope 47K route, come run it, ride it, or just get out there with us and bring your headlamp. No big production. Just good people, some dirt, and a solid morning in the desert.

🏜️ MCKELLIGON CANYON SHAKEOUT RUN! 🏜️

This Friday, Chucotown Trailblazers is meeting at Memorial Park for a 5K shakeout run/walk for the McKelligon Canyon Challenge. A little run at an ultra-easy, conversational pace. 😮‍💨

We’ll meet by the Mabel Welch Historical Marker, meet at the rail, and head up the trail toward the top. Yeah… there are some hills. Just like the canyon so come get some! 😅
