..Our next Concealed Carry Course in Las Cruces is scheduled for August 29/30, 2026.

This is NOT a typical course.
You will learn tactics and skills that you will use on a daily basis to defend yourself and protect your family.
--------- Range day training
· 4 step holster draw
· Failure to fire - Immediate action drill.
· Firing of 5 shot slow fire analysis group
· Live fire shooting practice with coaching
· NM State Concealed license qualifications
· “Trigger reset” speed drills at 3 yards. 2 hits center mass
· Performance metric: on timer, 2 center mass hits from low or high ready position in less than one second, 3 yards
· 2 hits center mass with lateral movement, directed left or right, 3 yards(get off the X)
· As above, adding physical and verbal “search and clear” (clear your 6), 3 yards
· Strong hand only and weak hand only shooting with two center mass
· 3 demonstrated variations of integration of hand light with firearm.
· Rules for use of light as a defensive tool
· Demonstration on proper use of cover, discussion of urban cover choices
· Demonstration, handgun retention drill at close quarters

-Saturday classroom 0800-400pm
-Sunday Range day 0800-400pm
$100. Full licensing course (discounted for public safety personnel and their immediate family members.)
$50. License renewal or 2 year qualification.

The court ruled that ma*****na use alone doesn’t automatically disqualify citizens from their right to keep and bear arms. This could reshape federal enforcement and background check policies moving forward!!

...Grief does not play fair Contrary to what you may have been told, you can't put your grief into tidy stages or boxes. Years pass, and you forget the emotions it created. You are going about your life, something will happen, and grief comes rolling back so hard, it almost puts you on your knees.
After I came home from the military, my Father once told me that "my grief was actually my love for someone leaving my body". The more intensely you love someone, the more painful the process of recovering.
But why does it hide for decades, only to reach out and find you again?
