We are always working on new projects and every area of the house seems to get filled by one or another of our projects. At some point, we ran out of space to store the equipment for our projects and decided a new workspace had to be made. While the foundation of our new workshop-to-be, the shed, was being constructed we became excited with the prospects that more space offered for us. Once the sp
ace was finished, we spent hours tinkering with innovative ideas to make our grips better. We came up with the idea for ‘Woodie Grips’ because of a challenge from a peer. A Head Golf Professional at a local course said to me “a wooden putter grip would never work.” It became a personal challenge after that to prove that not only would a wooden putter grip work, but that it would be better than traditional grips. We have combined 37 years of carpentry skills with PGA certified knowledge and research. The results of our efforts are the new Woodie Grips. We believe this product will change the game of golf. Better in design, feel and appearance than a traditional rubber grip, WoodieGrips are the next generation in putter grips.
