Line reaming the throats on R***r 44-40 cylinders
From the factory they were .424” and that kills your accuracy and they kick like mules

C**t Second Generation, Second Model 1848
Commonly referred to as a “Dragoon”

Ported ring
Cut down factory cylinder and chambered for 45 C**t
Machined and faux finished port
Action work
11 degree forcing cone
Lightened action

I call this a “Gus” conversion on a Walker and it’s doable with a ported or gated ring I guess since John Wayne called Darby’s gun a Dragoon it would still be applicable.
