This week, a postpartum client told me she felt frustrated that she’s “not seeing progress.”

And I knew exactly what she meant. Because this season is heavy.

The broken sleep.
The constant feeding.
The mental load.
The way your body gives to everyone else before you.

So we had a different conversation.

Not about the scale or how she looks, but about what it means to show up for herself right now.

Because in this season, progress is quieter.
But deeply meaningful.🫶🏻

It looks like small promises kept.
It looks like rebuilding trust with yourself.
It looks like remembering you matter too.

If you’ve been feeling this way, you’re not behind.
You’re in a season that requires a different kind of strength.

This is the kind of support I give the moms I work with.

Because right now, you don’t need more pressure! You need perspective, guidance, and someone in your corner to remind you what really matters right now.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. 🤍

So proud of Courtney 👏🏻

She’s down over 30 lbs since August, but what’s even more powerful is how she’s done it.

After working together in the past and taking a year off, she came back last summer ready to do things differently.

She recognized that her all-or-nothing mindset was holding her back and she was committed to shifting it.

Now? She’s showing up consistently, letting go of perfection, and it’s changed everything.

This is what sustainable progress looks like đź’™
Way to go, Courtney!!

I’ve been thinking about creating a monthly workout subscription that’s more affordable than 1:1 coaching - something where you get structured workouts each month but can follow them on your own terms. 🏋🏻‍♀️

The idea would be something like:
• New workouts each month (with both a gym option and an at-home option)
• Access through my training app
• Group challenges you could participate in if you want
• Optional nutrition coaching add-ons

But...before I go all in on building it out, I’m curious:

Would you actually want something like this?
What would make it worth it for you?

Tell me your thoughts! 👇

Some nights it’s elaborate recipes. Others it’s throwing a bunch of things together and hoping it tastes decent!

That’s pretty much how our Mondays go lately. With Jon going back to work after the weekend, our Monday evenings always feel a little chaotic nowadays. . Bath time, meals, cleaning, getting to bed at a decent time, you get the point - so I’ve been trying to keep it extremely simple.

This one is on repeat:
Chicken sausage, broccoli or cauliflower (sometimes both), Japanese sweet potato or baby reds (sometimes both), tossed in olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper - then roasted at 425° until crispy on the outside and the veggie is a little crispy (but well cooked)

That’s it. Minimal effort, easy to clean up, and perfect for meal prep.

Balanced, filling, and realistic for this season of life. No fancy ingredients. No complicated steps. Just good food that fuels you.

Up until about a year ago, I followed meal plans for years. I ate the same stuff every single day. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it and it’s important to note that I CHOSE that lifestyle.

But now that I’m not following meal plans, and eating more intuitively, it’s been so fun finding fun recipes, trying new things, and finding new staple meals👩‍🍳🥔

What’s your go to dinner recipe?

Hey mama, you don’t need better time management.

You need grace.

People love to claim that we all have the same 24 hours, but after experiencing both pregnancy and postpartum for the first time I can vouch (even more than before) that for the moms this statement is far from the truth.

When you’re freshly postpartum, and even months after, your life revolves around:
• your baby, duh
• feeds
• wake windows
• diaper changes
• doctor appointments for you and baby
• “did my baby get enough tummy time today? Did I feed them enough? Are they crying because they’re hungry, tired, or both?”
• constant worries or questions about your baby
• finally taking a long shower, without rushing, while battling the unbearable mom guilt

And doesn’t even begin to cover it all.

While at the same time, you’re navigating your new body, the emotional changes while going through hormonal chaos, trying to still show your significant other love, and wondering how in the hell am I going to do all of this on top of stay on top of my other responsibilities AND focus on my health?

It’s overwhelming.
It’s exhausting.

But yet - it’s one of the most beautiful, happiest, and life changing times of your life.

Your 24 hours look different these days.

Less rushing.
More holding.
Less structure.
More surrender.

You’re not behind.

You’re just in a season that doesn’t last forever. 🤍

When it comes to your health and fitness goals, you don’t have to stop them - instead, pull back a bit. Take things day by day. Focus on things that truly matter, ones that makes you feel good or accomplished, and give yourself grace when you need it.

You don’t need extremes in order to lose weight! 👇🏻

Instead, you need to be consistent with the bare bone basics for longer than a few days or even a few weeks.

Here are some of the basics that you might be overlooking when it comes to your weight loss:
• Water intake and hydration
• Moving your body, even in the simple ways like taking the stairs or parking in the back of the parking lot to get in more steps
• Eating enough calories with a good balance of protein, carbs, and fats
• Not going off the deep end every weekend as a way to “treat yourself” for having a “perfect” week
• Eating your veggies and fruit
• Prioritizing your sleep and getting 6-8 hours of sleep
• Managing your stress well and learning to work through the hard things rather than avoiding them

My client Court came to me ready to hit the ground running in a dieting phase. But after looking at her habits and lifestyle, it was clear we needed to focus on those basics. Now here we are, 10 weeks later and she’s down just over 13 pounds.

Great work, Court!

Some days if feels like you’re not moving at all - look closer 👇🏻

All the quiet wins, small battles, and the effort you put in daily add up.

It’s just hard to see because you’re constantly raising the bar - making you feel like these things are inadequate.
