Ryan West and BSA Troop 645 from Highlands Ranch built some new benches and a gear holder for our High Ropes Challenge Course area. This area is one that just about every school, retreat, and summer camper uses, and these additions will be well used for years to come. Thank you!! 🪢

Stone Canyon is currently hiring a new Outdoor Education Program Manager. Our OE program runs concurrent with the school year and offers 3-day, 2-night programs for schools in Douglas County School District and the Denver Metro area. We currently serve approximately 3500 students within 48 schools.

The OE Program Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with our schools, setting up program logistics, answering parent questions, and overseeing the program budget. They will also be in charge of the training and supervision of a Program Coordinator, 10 Program Instructors and 2 Lead Instructors.

We are a small, but mighty program that continues to grow and find new ways to innovate in the world of outdoor education. We recently built a new ropes course and expanded our kitchen and dining hall. Exciting things are happening in the Canyon - come join the team!

Stone Canyon is currently hiring a new Program Coordinator for Outdoor Education. This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position with full benefits. The Program Coordinator will report directly to the OE Program Manager and will be responsible for recruitment and training of our High School Lead volunteers, overseeing on-site daily logistics, supply purchasing, and assisting the manager with supervision of the instructors and program quality. There is a requirement of one (1) on-duty night a week.

Our outdoor education program runs concurrent with the school year and offers 3-day, 2-night programs for schools in Douglas County School District and the Denver Metro area. We currently serve approximately 4000 students within 52 schools.

We are a small, but mighty program that continues to grow and find new ways to innovate in the world of outdoor education. We recently built a new ropes course and are getting ready to break ground on our kitchen and dining hall expansion. Exciting things are happening in the Canyon - come join the team!
