We haven't been to too many dirt tracks where the surface stays exactly the same from hot laps until the white flag of the feature. That's part of the beauty of dirt track racing. Last weekend proved to be challenging for the 15TRX team. It started at River Cities Speedway with a DNF in the A Main. The team has been struggling with tire issues the last few weekends and another flat cost us positions. As it sits right now Chris is 3rd in track points with the #57 driven by Nathan Raasaka on our tales with just 13 points separating us. We are fierce competitors on the racing surface but we pride ourselves and our team in taking something good and learning every time we race.

Next was Official Greenbush Race Park. Driver #169 made contact causing a bent ball joint. The crew scrambled to get this fixed the best they could before making the way back to the race track for the A Main, knowing the car wasn't where he would like it to be. Chris seems to thrive under pressure to persevere and ended the night with a strong 5th place.

On short notice it was decided to head to Bemidji Speedway on Sunday. Making adjustments that needed to be done from the night before, Sunday was another swing and a miss race night. This time of year proves challenges for most teams as they try to close out the season strong. Track championships, national championships, and winning titles of invitationals is what every driver wants but Chris continues to stay positive until the end of season. In his heat two cautions were charged on the 15TRX. The first as the spun him into the corner sending him tail end charged with the caution. The second yellow flag was thrown when another driver cut him off in the corner. Trying to avoid the other driver Chris got sideways. According to our sanction rules, two cautions, you get sent to the pits ending our night with a DNF.

Even though it was challenging and regardless of the results, Chris had a blast.

Tonight the 15 TRX team will be racing Official Greenbush Race Park. Stop down after the races to pick up a driver card, a picture with Chris, or just to talk racing.

Chris planned on going to Bemidji Speedway today, but Mother Nature had a different idea. The 15TRX machine did manage to get two races in this weekend. The first was River Cities Speedway on Friday. Chris rolled out for Heat 2 with his new wrap done by Fast Graphix. He finished in 3rd setting him to start up front again for the A-Main. The crew has been tweaking multiple things on the car throughout the season and Chris felt confident he had a solid car under him. He had a good shot at getting a win until he felt a tire going down and was a DNF on lap 17. Both Chris and Jory Berg were running the same line. Jory Berg said he felt his tire going down too but was able to hold onto a 2nd place finish. Congratulations to Austin Hunter Racing for getting another win.

Saturday brought us to Official Greenbush Race Park. This proved to be another successful night for 15TRX team. Chris started third row inside in Heat 1 finishing 2nd behind the 17S Lance Schill. Starting first row outside in the A-Main, the goal was to get out front and stay out front. Clean air is something drivers dream about. With a few more laps he might've taken the checkered flag as his best lap of 15.106 was on lap 10 out of the 15 lap A-Main. Chris finished 4th and was very happy with his performance. Congratulations to Lance Schill for the clean sweep.

Harvest will soon take us away from racing for a couple weeks on an oval track, but nothing says you can't race in a field.

Chris drew 100 out of 100 at Official Greenbush Race Park tonight. He will start tail end of heat 2. He felt he had a fast car last night at River Cities Speedway and hope to continue that tonight. Greenbush is one of his favorite tracks with a past feature win. We are ready to put the 15TRX car back in victory lane.

UPDATE: MRP timing shows Chris finishing 1st but Conner Drewry transponder is not working. Chris finishes with a 2nd in his heat. He’s making the car work for him tonight.

The 15TRX is headed to River Cities Speedway tonight. We are thankful the weather is a tad cooler. The weather can play a big part in the track surface.

Chris took 7th place in the feature tonight and was pleased with the car.

15 TRX Saturday Night Recap.

We have been looking for an opportunity to take the B-Bod racing with the A-mods, so that’s what we did at Official Greenbush Race Park on Saturday. We knew going into the event that car had 170HP less then an A-Mod and was about 100 Lbs heavier.

15 TRX drew a low pill number putting us on the outside poll with Tyler Peterson (1TPO) to our inside, Teunis, Bronk, Blacklance, Duray, and Thomas to the back of us. As the Greenflag dropped 1TPO had us cleared by the flag stand, at that point the 15 TRX settled in behind. The first 6 laps we held serve at 2nd place, caution came out with one lap to go, Teunis was able to get underneath on the restart to take the 2nd position. 15 TRX finished 3rd. As far as the 15 TRX, those were the fastest times posted at Greenbush for that car.

Feature race, 15TRX drew 3rd row inside. Anticipating the track would slick off, we made adjustments to the car that would be conducive to the track conditions. In retrospect we probably went a little to far. From the start of the race to about the halfway mark the 15TRX was throttle tight, ended up falling back to 14th makeing up one position on lap 10 to 13th.
At the end of the day I had 2 different perspectives, the first being during the heat race, was that I belong here and this car is awesome. The second was during my feature, was don’t bring a knife to a gun fight, of coarse if your Chuck Norris it doesn’t matter. Lol
