A special thanks to Evan from London, England, for helping me rescue an injured pelican that had become entangled in fishing line and a lure.
Please remember — never cut a fishing line if a bird gets snagged. Instead, carefully bring the bird to you, remove the lure or hook, and cut away all of the fishing line. A bird that flies away still tangled often faces certain death.
