Villarreal Aikido Academy Welcome to the Villarreal Aikido Academy. This school has been created to further the practice of Aikido not only in Laredo but through out Texas.

The Villarreal Aikido Academy is located along side the Gonzalez Karate Academy at 604 Shiloh Dr. Suite # 4. I am Sensei David Villarreal, Shodan in Aikido Shodukan under the instruction of Sensei Juan Ponce of Aikido of Laredo. I also have a Shodan in Karate Goshinjutsu under the instruction of Grand Master Sensei Joseph Gonzalez of the Gonzalez Karate Academy. I welcome everyone to try a class a

nd see if Aikido is something you may enjoy. For me, the art has been far more then a hobby, martial arts saved my life, and the friends and family i have made through out my journey to get here today are worth more than any amount of material riches can supply. I encourage everyone to find their sanctuary for their own mental well being, and if you think that martial arts may be your sanctuary, I welcome you to come and share it with us.
