Please join us in welcoming the largest rookie class ever to the TAMIU Spirit Program!

🎉 27 NEW RECRUITS 🎉
We are incredibly excited for the journey these student-athletes are about to begin. Becoming a member of TAMIU Spirit is about more than cheering and dancing t’s about representing our university with pride, commitment, passion, and excellence.

This year’s roster is shaping up to be something special. With an incredible 90% return rate from last season and the addition of 27 talented new members, we are bringing one of the strongest and deepest rosters in program history into the 2026-2027 season.

The talent, work ethic, and potential within this group is undeniable. Our returning members have set the standard, and our newcomers are ready to rise to the challenge. Together, they will continue building on the tradition and success of this nationally recognized program.

To our rookies: Welcome to the family. Your journey starts now, and we cannot wait to watch you grow, compete, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

12 years in the making… and we’re BACK where we belong. 🤘🏻🫶🏻🤍
After over a decade, TAMIU Spirit Program Cheer has returned to the WINNERS CIRCLE — something that hasn’t been done since 2014. This year in Daytona 2026, we rose to the moment and finished as SILVER CHAMPIONS 🥈 — 2nd place out of 14 of the nation’s top universities.
And the story doesn’t stop there…
TAMIU Dance Team continues to rewrite history. Just one year ago, finals felt out of reach after 4 years. Now? Back-to-back finals appearances and bringing home SILVER 🥈 — 2nd place among 10 elite programs.
Let that sink in…
✨ BOTH Cheer AND Dance in the winners circle. SAME YEAR.
✨ TAMIU SPIRIT HISTORY MADE.
This isn’t luck. This is resilience. This is growth. This is a program that refused to settle.
We’re not just here to stay…
WE’RE HERE TO COMPETE.
Daytona 2027…
we’re coming for that 🥇🔥

Day 2, let’s run it back 🔥

TAMIU Cheer is ready to hit the mats today at 7:07 PM CT / 8:07 PM ET!
One more time—leave it all out there🤍
