Our coaches and band directors recently attended the LISD Coaches Convocation at the Dr. Marcus Nelson Conference Center last week. The attendees heard messages from LISD Board President, Goyo Lopez, LISD Board Parliamentarian Gus Perez, and LISD Board of Trustee Juan Ramirez. They also heard a motivational speech from IFBB Pro Professional Figure Athlete Gabriela Cadena.

LISD High School students received their certificate for participating in the Webb County Constable Pct. 1 Summer Youth Academy during a Graduation Ceremony held at the LISD PAC in the Dr. Marcus Nelson Conference Center. The students also received a certificate for completing adult CPR and ARD training. Congratulations to our Swimmer: Alessandro! Way to go Mustangs! 🐴🏊‍♂️👏

21 Nixon Swimmers have been awarded NHSCA Academic All-Americans and 11 Juniors and Seniors TISCA Academic All-State Swimmers. They were recently recognized by the LISD Board of Trustees and the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Guillermo Pro. Congratulations to the team and Coach Gomez, Go Mustangs! 🐴👏🏊‍♂️
