What were you going to do clean today, work out, kids sports or catch up on reading ? That can all wait, can't it? 2pm Team Racing ScRaMbLeS, right off the front docks.
Come on out to watch, skipper or crew.

Forecast is for a wind strengths of 10 -15 mph with gusts to 20. Temp nearing 60.

Racing and debrief to conclude by 430 leaving you more than enough time to work on your dining MINIMUM (it's the end if the month) and get a quick meal before you go home to do whatever before 60 min.

LYC Team Race Scrambles begin next week. Come one, come all. These Scramble afternoons were created to give ever Member the chance to get a taste of team racing. We'll be racing the Ideal 18s with fluorescent sails right off of the club. After sailing, there will be a short debriefing on the afternoon’s activities over libations. Don't miss out on this fun & easy opportunity.

Sunday, April 13
Saturday, April 19
Sunday, April 28
Sunday, May 4

Time: 1400 – 1630 – Come for the afternoon, come for an hour, or just stop-by to see what’s going on. Participants will rotate into and out of boats frequently to keep everyone involved.

Requirements:
· Open to ALL LYC sailors from the most junior to the most senior
· Everyone must wear a USCG approved PFD
· All skippers must sign an LYC damage waiver before sailing
· No reservations are necessary, but please shoot me an e-mail if you think you will participate. And plan on some serious fun!

Another great day of racing for team LYC - Day 2 was a roller coaster ride with 3 races in tough conditions - 2 excellent finishes and 1 tough race. We are waiting for final results. Here is a shot of the team in 1st in race 1 today with their golden spinnaker, which is awarded to the regatta leader for the day. GO LYC!
