The BBCC Ladies MIPTL Paddle Team has officially brought home FIRST PLACE — and what a season it was! 💙🎾

This championship was truly a full team effort, powered by grit, strategy, and nonstop energy on the court.

Huge congratulations to our incredible leadership team: 👏 Coaches Asi Phillips, Jonathan Compres, and Mike Portanova for guiding the way all season long.

👏 Captains Rebecca Milstein & Meg Bausano for steering the ship with focus, positivity, and heart.

Sending Huge Congratulations to Bonnie Briar's Chef de Cuisine, Catherine DiQuinzio!

Catherine was recently named in the Top 40 Under 40: Class of 2025, by Club + Resort Chef!

Club + Resort Chef’s annual 40 Under 40 list recognizes young,
outstanding culinary talent in the club and resort industry.

Catherine DiQuinzio began her career in club culinary back in high school, later earning a four-year degree in culinary while working. She started as a snack attendant and has since progressed through many roles, until becoming Bonnie Briar’s Chef de Cuisine three years ago. Throughout her career, Catherine has developed exceptional culinary and management skills, excelling in both operational and administrative aspects. She has cultivated her own unique management style and built a stellar reputation, all while continuously seeking innovative ideas for the club.

In other news -

On September 21, 2024, BBCC member Alexa Phung came out on top at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ, scoring a total of 125 points to make it through to Augusta National Finals for the 4th time! She holds the record in returning to Augusta as a returning Champion.

INCREDIBLE! Congratulations Alexa, we are very proud of you!

We just wanted to take a moment to recognize as well as congratulate BBCC member Amelie Phung for her recent feat -

Amelie (who is still 16 years old) has signed with Rice University in Houston, Texas. She was awarded the 2025 Rolex Scholastic All American and Semi National Merit finalist. She also was awarded the Presidents Award at FAU from maintaining a 4.0 for all her college course work.

We are so very proud of you, Amelie! Rice University is very lucky to have you!
