Busy week out at Jacoby Golf Course! ⛳️

Our crew has been hard at work making improvements around the course to keep conditions in great shape for the season ahead. This week included:
• Building a brand new tee box on Hole 14
• Course fertilization to keep the turf healthy and green
• Aeration work to improve turf health and playing conditions

We appreciate everyone’s patience while maintenance projects are underway. All the hard work now means even better golf ahead this summer! 🌱☀️🏌️

Vandalism alert at Jacoby. Late night joyrides are not allowed! If you know or hear anything please pass that information to a Jacoby employee or UW police!

The wait is over — we’re kicking off the golf season this Saturday, April 4th! The course is ready, the greens are rolling, and it’s time to dust off the clubs and get back out there.

Whether you’re chasing birdies or just enjoying a day outside, there’s no better way to start the season. Grab your friends, book a tee time, and come be part of the first swings of the year.

With cooler temperatures this week we were able to replace patches on 8 green with fresh sod⛳️. This sod work will continue on Thursday 8/28. Stay tuned with more projects !! ⛳
