In the Main
Club House, you will find our meeting room, heated indoor range, and
restroom facilities. The indoor range offers 10 shooting stations (50 feet) and is open to members 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The range is closed to general shooting only during scheduled events. Our Outdoor Range offers a 50 position covered firing line with target placement possibilities at 25, 50, 100 and 2

00 yards. The Outdoor range is also open to members 365 days a year (closed to general shooting only during scheduled events). At the covered firing line you will also find another meeting room and indoor restroom facilities.

The Muzzleloading Division at MCRC held its regular monthly shoot on Sunday, August 2nd. After the shoot they enjoyed a lunch of Venison Shepherd’s Pie. Next shoot is Sunday, September 6th at 9:00 am. It’s open to the public. All those interested in learning about Muzzleloaders or wishing to shoot should attend.

The Muzzleloading Division of the Michigan City R***e Club holds matches on the first Sunday of every month. These matches are open to the public. Targets are paper, novelty type, and the prizes are sometimes novel and surprising. Shooting is normally at 25 yards, but sometimes 50 or even 100 yards. The matches are held on the outdoor range at the covered firing line. Shooting starts at 9:00 am Central Time.

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, MCRC will host the seminar “Situational Awareness” presented by Hoosier State Training, LLC. It is free for members, their guests and the public.

The women’s shooting group orientation meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled. It will be rescheduled soon.

MCRC wishes to form a women’s shooting group. An orientation meeting is scheduled for February 18, 2026, at 6:30 pm in the indoor range meeting room. The meeting is an opportunity for female club members; female members of the public; and the spouses, significant others, and daughters of the Club’s male members to meet and discuss the shooting activities they would like to participate in at the Club.

Please note that nothing definitive has been decided. This is an exploratory meeting to discuss ideas. It is not necessary to bring fi****ms or am******on to the meeting. We encourage all interested individuals to attend.
