𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐔𝐏𝐓𝐒 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐘 & 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓

Today at 8:09 AM, deputies responded to the 200 block of Lakeview Drive in Fish Lake regarding a burglary in progress resulting in one person being shot. The initial on-scene investigation completed by Deputy David Francis and assisting deputies determined the following occurred.

A 66-year-old homeowner arrived at his residence and entered through an overhead garage door. He encountered a Hispanic male carrying two rifles inside his garage. The subject immediately fled from the residence.

The homeowner proceeded inside and located a second Hispanic male within the interior of his residence. A scuffle ensued between the two and ended when the homeowner was shot. The intruder immediately fled from the residence.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were contacted and responded to the scene.

Deputies set up a perimeter and searched the area for an extended period. However, the two burglars were not located.

The homeowner sustained an upper body gunshot wound. He was transported from the scene by ground to a regional hospital for treatment.

What a wonderful weekend spent on the range!!

This wonderful mother/daughter duo reached out to take my class in hopes of feeling more confident with the fi****ms they already had at home.

These ladies showed up with great attitudes and their willingness to learn showed on paper by the end of the day 🎯 So proud of these two!!

Having the confidence to handle your firearm safely and correctly is a necessary part of everyone’s firearm journey. Mama Bear Firearm Training provides students with the critical basic tools to ensure safety and confidence on and off the range!

What a day on the range for these brand new shooters! 🎯 These lovely ladies reached out to take my class in hopes to overcome some of the hesitation that comes with handling a firearm. After learning proper and safe gun handling in the classroom, they showed themselves just how capable they truly are on the range!
I love watching my students grow in their confidence around fi****ms and I’m so lucky to be a part of their journey 🙌🏻 Way to go ladies I am so proud of you!!
Just look at their targets- the last magazine they emptied….just cutting holes😉
