🌟2026 LaPorte Girls Track & Field Kids Camp🌟

Registration is now open for our annual LaPorte Girls Track & Field Kids Camp! Join the LaPorte Girls Track & Field team and coaching staff for three fun-filled evenings of learning the fundamentals of running, jumping, and throwing.

📅 - June 15–17, 2026
⏰ - 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
📍 - LaPorte Track & Field Complex (behind LaPorte Middle School)
🏃🏼‍♀️- Girls entering 1st–8th grade for the 2026–27 school year
💲- $40 (includes a camp t-shirt)

👕 Register by May 29th to guarantee your camp shirt!

This is a great opportunity for young athletes to build skills, gain confidence, and have fun with our high school athletes and coaches!

This season we have had TWO ladies sign to become collegiate athletes. 👏🏼🧡

Rae Dawsey signed and will be attending Defiance College in Ohio to play flag football. 🏈💜

Caylin VanShoyck signed and will be attending Purdue Northwest in Hammond, IN to run cross country and track. 🏃🏼‍♀️💛

We are so incredibly proud of both of these ladies. They have both been captains this season, and both ladies have impacted our team in massive ways. We will certainly miss both of them, but we are SO excited to cheer them on as they further their athletic careers. 🧡✨ Once a Slicer, Always a Slicer!

We are SO proud of this group of ladies. We can’t wait to watch them compete next Tuesday at Regionals for a possible spot at State! 🧡

Pre-Season is here 🥳🎊✨

Anyone interested in joining LPGTF this season is HIGHLY encouraged to join us for our pre-season workouts beginning TODAY (1/5/26). This is for those who are NOT competing in a winter sport, and is not required to join our team… but again, it is HIGHLY encouraged that you join us if you are able! 👟

Our January schedule will look like this: Mondays (3-4pm) in the Wellness Center, Tuesdays and Thursdays (3-4:30pm) in our Upper Balcony. Please change in the gym locker room and be ready to go by 3pm! If you are not on ParentSquare (this is required), or you have any questions—please email Coach Anglin ([email protected]) !! Please remember ParentSquare is our required form of communication, as winter schedules are subject to change. 💪🏼

Introducing the 2025-2026 LPGTF Coaching Staff 👟🧡

Next, we have Coach Mom Anglin was a 4 year varsity track, basketball and softball athlete in the state of Colorado. She set the school record for triple jump as a high school junior. She participated in triple jump, long jump, open 400, 200 and anchored the 4x4 relay. They just missed going to state her senior year in the 4x4 by. 004 of a second. Her basketball team was 5th in the state of Colorado her senior year.

Coach Anglin turned down scholarships to play basketball in college and earned her bachelor’s in elementary education with a double minor in Science and English from Northern Michigan University. She went on to get married in 1995 and found herself settling in LP and starting her family. She has five wonderful children and is going in to her third year of coaching track at LPHS. She cannot wait for this season to start. LPGTF is ready to do big things!
