A couple housekeeping things to bring up for the 2026 seasons. Every hide that comes in going forward needs to be tagged on the outside of the bag. If your capes already have tags affixed to them, please have that tag information/number on the outside of the bag. We are switching to a digital system for all of our documentation in an attempt to be more efficient and organized.
Secondly, we will be charging extra for long capes this year. We had the extra charge last season too however I actually only applied it to very few even though we had dozens of capes that qualified. The additional surface area on those capes and products required on those capes adds up significantly. The charge will be applied to capes that have 6+ inches of hide behind the front legs. Discretion will be used if hides are borderline. I am more than happy to process the capes however they come in however if you want to avoid an additional $15 fee, cut your capes accordingly prior to freezing! We are eagerly waiting for the deer seasons to be here!
