LRC Shop: For you machine nerds out there, you will get the 11 second time difference in the first Pic.
For those not cursed with OCD/ADD and have yet to be anointed in the machining world. We will make the math easy. We will go with 10 seconds instead of 11. 10 seconds isnt a big deal. Most archers shot time is between 6 and 8 seconds. Bull rides are 8 seconds at a time. Most people can hold thier breath for 6 to 10 times longer than 10 seconds. 600 yd flight time on a 300gr LRC Elite HTR, mv 2550 is 1.05 seconds. My dogs can destroy any new toy in 3 seconds.

In the machining world. 10 seconds is HUGE! Look at it this way. For a single instance, 10 seconds isnt much, but times that by 100, 200, 500, 1000. Over the course of making a part, we now just saved 16.6, 33.3, 83.3, and 166.6 minutes over the course of running the corresponding number of parts. Now take the cost of cnc machine time. Most are running 125 to 150 bucks an hour. I did the first part of the equation, up to you to do the rest.
So, if you have ever heard the phrase time is money. This is your life look at what that actually means.

LRC Shop: I need more Me's and more machines on the floor running. The ol Haas SL10 has been running non stop for the last week from before dawn till after dusk. Stacking parts getting ready. The Haas VF3 is waiting in the wings to bite into material. I will have the biggest inventory I have ever had come July. There is some major news waiting for the the right time to drop. Let's just say, major players have taken notice. This one man band is about to add some more band members.

LRC Shop: running a few more ideas on how to make this adapter for the Supra sight be a little more barrel contour friendly. Lack of thread protectors in my Shop is astonishingly low. Threw a noise maker off a bergara barrel on the threads and started laughing.
Anyone else think this noise maker wannabe brake like like it got hit with cold water?

I know, not very couth, but on a day that I am thinking back over the friends and family that are only left in memory, I thought a little levity would be in order.

Hope everyone is enjoying memorial day and the memories

LRC Shop: over 9k deer tags in Utah require iron sights for centerfire hunts. Along with the rising number of suppressors being used during the hunt, thought I better build a new prototype or 2. This one sure is working out great.

LRC Shop: Sitting at my desk, listening the 2 HAAS machines chugging along behind me. Staring at a Solidworks 3D CAD model then up to a Cam tool path profile. Its always a anxiety driven moment when you take an idea from design, to programming, to set up, to running the first parts, finally taking them to the hills to find out if your anxiety was worth it or not. Most the time you end up right back to the same screens making adjustments, and rerunning a slightly modified version. Find a path that shaves 10 seconds off the machine time. Little adjustments on Little things. Then start all over again. Finally looking at the clock and realizing your family has been home for 4 hours and younhave yet to go say hello. Scratch your head and wonder where the time went. Sure is fun though.

LRC Field: The last bull of NM trip last fall. 3 of 3 with thw Supra Sight system. Jody knocked this ol hoss down at 360 yd. Helluva shot on a helluva trip. There are more stories about this trip. 1 of which involved a innocent tree stump, but those are Cooper's to tell.

Roughly 80% of elk harvested with the Supra Sight system have been between 310 and 350yds. Its never about how far you can shoot, it's about having the ability and the equipment when you need it.

If you look at the averages of distance game has been taken with the Supra sight. You really didn't lose anything when scopes were taken off the rifles if you were already taking realistic muzzy shots.

Big things are brewing this year. The sight has been enhanced and armored even more than ever.

LRC Shop: While cleaning out stuff that accumulates on the shelves and revamping the shop a bit, I came across these two gems.
Some of you will definitely get a kick out of this.
Pictured are the two modified 420gr RMT .402 bullets I recovered from the base of my 20" x 18" plate after tagging it at 2,000 yards with Kong.

A little history for the new folks:

I built a massive 40-cal smokeless muzzleloader specifically to reach out and smack steel at stupid distances.
My first ELR attempt was at 1,776 yards. I had two buddies (Joe and Tyler) spotting for me on a hellacious, j***y wind day. The goal was to hit a roughly 1 MOA target at a mile within 10 shots. We nailed it on shot #5. Three of the last five rounds were also on the plate. Wind was a tricky 15–18 mph left-to-right across two converging canyons — who knows what was really happening downrange.
A few weeks later I went back solo and tagged 2,000 yards twice. The following week I pushed to 2,500 yards and just scraped the right edge once. While I was out there, I ranged some rocks on a ridge at 3,000 yards just to see if I had enough elevation left in the scope. I didn’t quite make it, but the Christmas tree reticle confirmed the distance and told me I needed some tweaks.
I’ve since made those adjustments and am looking forward to the day I can go for 3,000 yards… and eventually the holy grail at 2 miles. Might need to add a couple inches to the barrel for consistent hits that far.
Something to look forward to.

LRC Shop: buddy Lee, took this 25' NM bull at a comfortable 170yd. Another SupraSight smack down. This is the 2nd of 3 the group were able to harvest last fall. This must have been one helluva hunt.

I dont log into social media much. Please email at [email protected] for more info on the patent pending Supra Sight system for your muzzy or even for your centerfire

LRC Shop: This is 1 of 3 NM taken last fall by group using the Supra Sight. Coopers brother smoked this great bull at 270yds.

Dial up and hammer it.

Also, shoutout to for coining what will become this year's slogan
