We have shotgun, pistol, rifle and action teams that compete locally and nationally Michigan State University Sports Shooting Club is a student organization that promotes shooting sports among several disciplines (see below). Any MSU student is welcome to join with or without experience in fi****ms, and will be thought basics and then a discipline of choice. We host many open public competitions w
hich emphasize the safe use of fi****ms through education and sportsmanship. We also offer private shooting lessons for group outings and do not need to be MSU affiliated or student aged to do so, we can supply fi****ms and ammunition upon request. Disciplines-
-Action Pistol- A timed event to shoot 4 stages of 5 steel targets.
-Air Rifle- Competition style slow fire set time, # of rounds, and distance.
-Air Pistol- Competition 1 hand slow fire set time, # of round, and distance.
-.22 Pistol- Several stages of slow and rapid fire involving 50 rounds.
-D1- Tactical shooting of a silhouette involving .22 pistol and 50 rounds.
