A late afternoon rain shower = No Green Day Tonight!

To help our new grass grow, we took a slightly different approach to practice today. Riverside Softball alum Gabriela Cinnamon stopped by to share her softball journey. Gabby shared some relatable lessons she’s learned during her time at Riverside, which has prepared her for the challenge of being a college student-athlete.

Thank you, Gabby, for continuing to invest in the Riverside Softball program and for intentionally showing up for the next generation of RAMS. We are grateful for your willingness to share your experience and perspective!

If you’re a Riverside Softball alumni, we’d love to host you at a practice, a winter lift, or a game this spring! 💙❤️

Reminder: No Green Day practices this week.

Great news instead… our field is getting new sod on the edges, fresh grass seed, new dirt in the infield, and a full professional leveling 🤩. The Rams are getting outfitted with an even better playing surface than we had before.

Riverside fall practice stayed high rep and high energy on Monday. This was an “Options Practice,” which means the Seniors picked the practice plan, and we worked with that!

Footwork, lower half strength, limited throw stations, small group reps, hitting, and a fast 20‑minute scrimmage to close it out. We barely talked at the end because we’re fired up about the growth with this group in a few short days together.

Just walked the field. Plan on left field and the cages today for Green Day #3!

Exciting fall practice for the Rams 🐏!

21 kids showed up with 9 or 10 more in Varsity Fall Sports, 2 out on medical.

We introduced The Riverside Way, improved upon our routines, taught ways to generate additional power in our throws and swings, bonded over the Question of the Day, and competed the Riverside way!

We’re a long way from the spring, but our eyes are set on Thursday, our next Green Day!
