Welcome back, team! We hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! We can’t wait to see everyone back on the mat this week! 👊
🔥 Power Weekend for our Black Belt Candidates is THIS weekend!
• Thursday 9/10: Adult Testing at our Warminster dojo — NO regular sparring classes so we can all cheer on our adults and instructors!
• Friday 9/11: Kids Testing at Jamison
• Saturday 9/12: Team Day at Warminster Community Park for all kids and adults!
🖤 Black Belt Extravaganza is NEXT Saturday! If all of our candidates pass this weekend, they’ll be ready to take the next step in their Black Belt journey at the Extravaganza!

🥋 Black Belt Candidate Highlight: Brian Jackson! 🥋
Brian began his martial arts journey in 2022 in our adult program. His favorite weapon is the Bo Staff, and his favorite thing to do in class is fitness because it keeps him in shape but he also enjoys learning new techniques.
Martial arts has helped Brian develop focus, determination, and the mindset to never give up!
One of his favorite memories has been watching his kids go through their belt graduations and seeing them earn their new belts. He also loved getting birthday punches from his family for his 50th birthday! ❤️
Fun fact about Brian: he’s a big Iowa Hawkeyes fan! 🏈
And what makes his Black Belt journey especially meaningful is that he’s been able to experience it with his whole family. What an amazing journey to share together! 🥋❤️
We’re so proud of Brian and can’t wait to see him continue toward his Black Belt!

This month, we’re helping our students become confident communicators! 💪
With the school year starting, we want our students to feel comfortable using their voices. Whether it’s introducing themselves to a teacher, raising their hand in class, or talking to a new friend, we want them to have the courage to speak up!
Martial arts isn’t just about what we do on the mat—it’s about building confidence and skills that our students can carry with them everywhere they go. 👊

🥋 Black Belt Candidate Highlight: Lucy Jackson! 🥋
Lucy has been training in martial arts for about 4 years, and her favorite weapon is the sword. ⚔️
One of the biggest ways martial arts has impacted Lucy outside of the dojo is through the friendships she’s made and the lessons she’s learned about respect and treating others with kindness.
In class, Lucy loves self-defense and takedowns because she thinks they’re a lot of fun! One of her favorite martial arts memories is performing with the demo team at the Extravaganza—a memory that shows just how much she enjoys being part of the dojo community.
A fun fact about Lucy? She hates doing push-ups 😂 but loves running the mile with her friends!
Lucy shared that the dojo has had an amazing impact on her life. She’s made so many great friends, had the opportunity to train with so many different people, and gotten to experience countless special moments along the way.
We’re so proud of Lucy and everything she has accomplished throughout her journey!🥋🖤

We loved seeing everyone at our World Warrior Party today! It was so much fun celebrating all of the hard work, dedication, and commitment our students put in throughout the summer. 💪
We especially loved seeing everyone rocking their POWER BANDS and celebrating everything they accomplished! ❤️💙

🥋 Black Belt Candidate Highlight: Hayden Jackson!🥋
Hayden began his martial arts journey in 2022 and has been working hard toward his Black Belt ever since! His favorite weapon is the sword, and his favorite part of class is self-defense because he knows these skills could help in a real-life situation.
Martial arts has helped Hayden improve his focus, and one of his favorite memories is his very first class! Outside of the dojo, Hayden is a big football fan. 🏈
We’re so proud of Hayden and all the hard work he’s putting into his Black Belt journey! Keep it up, Hayden! 💪
