We’re raffling off a R***r Mark I Competition pistol along with a bullseye box, valued around $700. Tickets are $20, and all proceeds go directly to supporting local youth involved in shooting sports and 4-H.

This is a great way to support the kids even if you can’t make it to the fundraiser. Every ticket helps them continue competing, learning, and representing our community.

Drawing is April 11th.

This one is for a Henry Golden Boy .22, and it’s a really sharp rifle. Tickets are $20, and all proceeds go directly to helping local kids in shooting sports and 4-H.

These programs take time, effort, and funding, and this is one of the ways we’re able to keep them going and give these kids opportunities to compete and grow.

We’re putting on our 4th Annual Youth Shooting Sports Fundraiser at Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club, and it’s all about supporting the next generation. These kids are putting in the time, showing up, and representing our community in shooting sports and 4-H programs, and we want to give them every opportunity we can.

If you’re available, come out April 11th at 5pm. It’ll be a great evening with dinner, raffles, auction items, and live music. More importantly, it directly supports local youth and helps them continue competing and growing.

Donations Needed for Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club is excited to host our Easter Egg Hunt again this year, and we need your help to make it a fun and memorable event for the kids in our community.

Here’s how you can get involved:
• Donate individually wrapped candy
• Donate money to help purchase candy and prizes
• Join us to help stuff the eggs
• Keep an eye out for upcoming “Sip and Stuff” opportunities
• Join our planning committee and/or volunteer during the event

Every little bit helps, and we truly appreciate the continued support from our amazing Whidbey Island community. This event is always a big hit, and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

🍽️ Chef Wanted – Join Our Team

Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club is looking for a motivated, hands-on Working Chef to lead our kitchen and create great food for our members and guests.

This is a great opportunity for an organized, team-focused culinary professional who enjoys cooking, leading a small crew, and delivering consistent, high-quality meals in a welcoming private club environment.

What you’ll do:
• Lead lunch and dinner service Wednesday through Sunday
• Create and execute casual, pub-style lunch and dinner menus
• Plan and run special events like banquets, Prime Rib nights, game day parties, and dances
• Oversee daily prep, cooking, and plating
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food and labor costs
• Train and mentor a small kitchen team
• Maintain high standards for safety and sanitation

What we’re looking for:
• Experience in a moderate-volume, quality-focused kitchen (club, resort, or restaurant)
• Strong line cooking skills including sauté, grilling, roasting, and plating
• A team player with good communication skills
• Comfortable with POS systems and basic computer programs

Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and working in a fast-paced kitchen.

Starting pay is $30–$32 per hour depending on experience. Benefits available for qualified staff.
