As you paddle the sheltered waters of Langley, keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife ~ herons, bald eagles, crabs and kingfishers. Look a little closer and you might spot a sea star or harbor seal. And if you're really lucky… a whale! And for the truly adventurous, bonus points if you taste the sea kelp.

The Captain’s Loop Tour
There’s something magical about seeing Penn Cove from the water. Calm conditions this week make it perfect for gliding past mussel rafts, watching for seals and herons, and learning the rich history of the cove beneath the madrone trees.
