This has got to be my FAVORITE achievement to recognize, by FAR. Success Starter means not only has Gigi Groener been transforming her own health, but she is helping others do so, too! This girl was MADE for coaching and helping others and watching her grow and share her passions with others these past few months has been such a JOY - so recognizing her today is the icing on the cake.

Gigi is a top leader on our team and I cannot wait to see what she does next year and where her business takes her! So so stinkin proud of you and cannot wait to shout you out next month :) You are so inspiring and I absolutely love working with you! CONGRATULATIONS, Gigi!! This is only the beginning 💛

WE DID IT!! Over $1000 donated to GOTR today && another team donation to the B&G club of DC going down on Saturday.

GratefulAF for this team of mine 🥰✨

After a postponed wedding, a move, and a month of distance learning I said ENOUGH.
Enough of my own BS. Enough of my “excuses” - just ENOUGH. I refused to end 2020 feeling sorry for myself and this year.

So I choose to dive into a program that would challenge me like never before with my team:
RUNNING.

30 days of choosing to SHOW UP for ourselves.
30 days of following a running calendar 😳
30 days of jokingly saying, “I’m not a runner but I’m doing this..”

To finally, confidently, honestly believing and saying:
I AM A RUNNER.

I could NOT have done it without the support, accountability & encouragement of our team & the group of ladies who conquered this with me - We did it team!! See ya on Saturday to do it again 🏃‍♀️

Invested in some GIFTS for my coaches for when they give themselves a promotion/rank advancement ✨

Popped one in the mail today & word on the street is we have another one coming up this week 🙌🏼 Imagine getting recognized and rewarded for doing your job, and YOU dictating when you get a promotion with only some hard work, consistency and willingness to learn.

One of my absolute favorite things about this job is recognizing my team for their hard work and helping THEM build a successful business of their own

Yep - you heard that right: you will never be on your own. I’ll teach you everything I’ve learned & well become for friends in the process 🤗 Even in the pockets of your days, when moving, or even while distance learning

Who knows, maybe one of these will go to you? My inbox is always open & our team is always ready to welcome you with open arms 💛

FIGHT for her.⁣

For that future version of you you haven’t met yet but you know is in there.⁣

The one who keeps her promises, especially those to herself.⁣

The one who FINISHES what she starts.⁣

The one who wakes up excited and enthusiastic for each day.⁣

The one who has the energy for her many jobs.⁣

The one who has a VISION, big dreams and isn’t afraid to get down and dirty in the work to make them happen.⁣

The one who commits to HERSELF every day.⁣

She’s there, waiting for you. First step is deciding to meet her & then choosing to FIGHT for her every. single. day.

I WAS TERRIFIED.⁣

I didn’t think I was qualified.⁣
I didn’t think anyone would trust me..⁣

But I soon realized that what I do as a virtual health + fitness coach is JUST like what I do as a field hockey coach. I played FH for years, know what it takes to be successful, and am able to share what I learned through my experiences with others to help them be successful. With fitness, I’ve gone through the programs, I’ve learned what it takes to stay consistent & can share what I learned through my experiences to help others be successful!⁣

Reading through some client testimonials this week (swipe 👉🏼) was EVERYTHING - and reminded me why it was so important that even though I was scared, I did it anyways. Even with doubts, I said yes. Even with fears, I said let me see what it’s all about.⁣

For the mom of a 6 month old who has regained her passion for fitness.⁣
For the first year math teacher that’s found a routine to give her energy for her virtual/hybrid classes.⁣
For the newly engaged, new home buyer navigating job transitions and moving.⁣
For the mama-to-be who wants to stay as healthy and strong as possible for delivery.⁣

It is SO worth it.⁣
I have a new mentorship kicking off on Monday btw - if you’ve ever thought about doing this too, I’d love to chat and see if you’d be a good fit for our team. Drop a 💪🏼 below if you want me to send you some details first :)

I don’t typically like to talk about income and finances on here because it can be a touchy subject, I get that. BUT I would be lying if I said that wasn’t a part of why I spend afternoons and evenings working - even after teaching all day.⁣

Instead of numbers, I want to share perspective. This business and the income associated with it has helped me and Ryan afford to move into a 2 bedroom apartment so I can teach virtually from a different space than where he’s working from home (and don’t get me started on the perks of 2 bathrooms )⁣

It’s allowed me to be confident in purchasing a new car for myself (first time in my life I haven’t bought from a family/friend!)⁣

It’s going to allow us to invest in a videographer for our wedding, when originally we didn’t think we were going to but ⁣ happened

It’s allowing me to book our next team retreat (YEP TPTP ya heard that right - we’re doing it again!) Something I’ve been dying to do since the last one with my peeps.⁣

It’s given us so much more freedom than *just* teaching ever could, and the fact that I’m also more active than ever & getting healthier by the day - just a side perk

If you hav ever been interested in what I do as a coach or curious about more of the behind the scenes of the day to day duties, how we make money, what’s required of us, etc. head over to for an exclusive inside look next week!⁣ I’ll see you there & I’ll answer any and all questions you have 🤙🏼

Do you remember having to run the timed mile in gym class? Does it bring you flashbacks of nightmares too? K cool glad I’m not the only one. (PE teacher friends: is the timed mile still a thing in gym class these days?)⁣

Anywho, I hated it.⁣

There’s something about having to cover a certain distance that just gets in your (my) head.⁣

I remember training for our run test when I went to college to play lacrosse.⁣
A TIMED MILE. ⁣
I will say it until I’m blue in the face: I’m a sprinter, not a runner. I DONT run distance. Don’t sign me up for it.⁣

I’ve held this mental block for any distance more than 2 miles, that I couldn’t run it.⁣

Have you limited yourself like that, too?⁣

Cause this past week - I have been doing the sample guided run for our new 30 day program coming out next month (PS: I signed up for a virtual 10K with to challenge myself and am kinda pooping my pants in nerves about it but here we are)⁣

SO HERE’S THE THING: this running & resistance program isn’t only about a distance. 🙌🏼⁣
It’s about challenging yourself to run based on YOUR rate of exertion. Based on YOUR body. So this sample guided run I’ve been doing isn’t like any other program - telling me to “Run ___ miles each day.’ Instead, I have a trainer in my ear guiding me through intervals, pacing, form cues, and next thing I know the 20 minutes is DONE.⁣

Today I decided to check just how far the route is that I ran on Thursday was.⁣
2.5 miles.⁣
Having limited myself to distances for YEARS, once I stopped focusing on a DISTANCE, I actually conquered it.⁣

I’m still looking for a few more people to join us in the TEST GROUP for a new 30 day running + resistance program! The guided run has been incredible for my sanity and mental health while distance teaching because it’s getting me OUTSIDE and away from my “classroom”⁣

We already have 8 ladies committed to doing it WITH us.⁣

Will you be #9??
Fill out the form in my bio & I’ll send you the guided run 🏃‍♀️✌🏼

I never knew this existed. I never imagined something like this could actually HELP me.⁣

I never knew THIS would be the solution for me.⁣ Playing sports my whole life.. growing up through college I scoffed at online and hone workout programs. Convinced I HAD to lift heavy and thought I could do it on my own.

But today, as I was reading through the 30 comments on the introduction post from prep week of our LAST 90 DAYS accountability group, I was reminded of WHY this works. The community is what changed the game for me: not being ashamed that I wanted to work on myself and my health, not hiding the fact that I wasn’t at my “goals” but SHOUTING FROM THE ROOFTOPS when I completed a workout program. Because THEY showed up WITH me, and now I get to lead others through their programs as well.⁣

Seeing Lauren from NC, who just got notice that her 3rd graders are going from virtual to in person learning in 2 weeks committing to her low impact barre program (& carrying her one year old baby boy throughout her workouts!)⁣

Seeing Olivia - student teaching and committing to 100 workouts to create a healthy work-life balance⁣

Or Ashley from New York, newly engaged AND homeowner, who “fell in love with empowerment and seeing muscles grow,” setting new goals to stay consistent through a crazy season of life.⁣

There’s Kayla from Florida, first grade HYBRID teacher at the moment, literally bought a house THIS WEEK with her hubby and is sharing her love for health + fitness with others.⁣

&& Lindse from Wisconsin, mama of a sweet little boy AND 8 month old baby girl who was working out with us at 37 weeks pregnant this summer, STOKED to be cleared to start again.⁣

There’s Puneet from California, mom of two who’s motivation is her family seeing her working out as a daily norm, to set the example for THEM.⁣

This community is everything I never knew I needed and I’m not exaggerating when I say it saved me when I was feeling hopeless 2.5 years into teaching. We are SO excited to welcome you with open arms, anytime, any day 💛 Tap the link in my bio, can’t wait to hear about your goals!

It’s okay to be thankful for what you have, and still crave more.
It doesn’t make you ungrateful
It doesn’t make you selfish

It makes you DRIVEN.

10/06/2020

When I was in high school I got it in my mind that running 3 miles/day would help me burn calories & I desperately wanted to slim down before going off to college. There was a loop in our community that was just over 3 miles & even though I hated running, I ran it bc I was nervous about going to away to school & that was one thing I could control.⁣

In college just before a Spring Break trip to Jamaica I was hesitant to be on a beach in a bikini for a week so the month leading up to it there I was, with that same “3 miles” in my head.. I’d run on the treadmill 3 miles every day & then after that trip never went back.⁣

My first year teaching, Sunday’s were the ONLY day I had any time for me, & I spent the morning forcing myself to run - but here’s the kicker: I hated every minute of it. I don’t know what it was that 16 year old me got in my head about 3 miles, but back then.. I did it as a punishment. To burn calories. To lose weight. ⁣

I have always said, “I’m a sprinter. I’m not a runner” - but I’ve grown SO MUCH since then, I’ve come to learn to celebrate my body for what it CAN do. Which is why I’ve CHOSEN to take on a new challenge -⁣

In 2 weeks I’ll be diving into a 30 day running + strength training program & as nervous as I am, I also signed up for ’s *virtual* race. NGL I’m extremely hesitant and I have this limiting belief that I’ll never make it beyond those 3 miles - but I’m also excited to take on the challenge and push myself outside of my comfort zone of “I’m not a runner” mindset.⁣

I’m looking for a few friends who are ready to overcome THEIR limiting beliefs about “being a runner” to take on this challenge WITH me! Let’s get out of the house, feel the crisp air & see the changing colors 🍁 We’ll dive deep into nutrition, PD, and of course: running + resistance training! If you’re a n00b like me, there’s a plan for you. If you’re an experienced runner (like Rachel) - there’s a plan for you. If you’re on a time crunch.. there’s a plan for YOU.

Goal: Cross that 5K line (for me, 10k!!) on Day 30 after having a month of a personal trainer in your ear guiding you the entire way. Are YOU in?! Drop a 🏃‍♀️ below - I’ll reach out🤘
