A very belated 🎉 CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 to Team Five Star for closing out the season with EXCELLENCE at the 2026 AAU Taekwondo Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, FL in July!

Both athletes qualified for and received invitations to the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, IA.

The 2026 competition season is in full swing and 🌟 Team Five Star 🌟 has been BUSY!!! 💥🥊🦶🏾

We started with the AAU Potomac Valley District Qualifier. The team had a great showing with Christopher winning gold 🥇🥇 in forms and point sparring, Angel winning silver and bronze 🥈🥉 in forms and point sparring, and Ms. Robyn winning gold 🥇🥇 in forms and Olympic sparring.

Then, while Ms. Robyn attended the USA Masters Team spring training camp in NY, the team headed back out to the Capitol City Youth Classics where they had another stellar performance! Bryce won silver and bronze 🥈🥉 in point sparring and forms and Christopher won TRIPLE GOLD 🥇🥇🥇 in forms, weapons, and point sparring! WOW, What a day! 🌟🌟🌟

Finally, we were back at it yesterday at the AAU Maryland State Championships. Christopher won silver 🥈🥈 in forms and point sparring. It wasn’t easy, but he dug deep and got it done! 🌟

We are so proud of Team Five Star! They’ve carried a demanding schedule so far with grit, determination, great skill, and a champion’s mindset. 💪🏾🌟 Next stop for the team is the AAU National Championships in FL 🇺🇸 and for Ms. Robyn, it’s the Madrid Masters Open in Spain! 🇪🇸

Shoutout to Strive Martial Arts and Bailey Murphy for facilitating an awesome sparring seminar last weekend! 💥🥊 It was NONSTOP ACTION and a great opportunity to refine our strategy and practice our skills. All of the young athletes were excited to meet the WAKO World Champ 💪🏾 and we appreciated how much attention he gave to every athlete. Thank you Bailey! ❤️
