Hempfield recCenter was happy to host Boys High School Tennis today. Hempfield vs Ephrata. Today all players got a Pizza Party thanks to Ephrata Player, Lance Wilson. Lancewas the winner of the High School Challenge at the Koser Jewelers Tennis Challenge in 2023 sponsored by River Rock Academy.

China’s Xinyu Wang is currently ranked No. 71 on tour. How about this for a fun fact: she loves to bake! Her baking specialties are cheesecake and banana bread with oats. On top of her singles ranking, she currently holds a WTA ranking of No. 26 in doubles.

Rebecca Peterson, from Sweden, is No. 85 in the WTA rankings. Peterson trains in Stockholm and is coached by her father, Mart. Growing up, Peterson’s tennis idols were Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters. When she’s not playing tennis, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends.
