March 7th, 2016 ,Team 409 Racing had an awesome weekend in Congress, AZ for the W.E.ROCK Events Dirt Riot season opener. We just put a new engine in the car and planned only to run laps and work the kinks out of a new build. Started the race and ran the car pretty easy just getting some time on the motor. Josh England outdid himself once again with an awesome set of rock sections on the course! We were having a blast driving through the rocks and the car was really coming together. Brandon and I started to push the car harder and on the 4th Lap we sheared the ram mount off of the tie rod ending our day early. We still had an awesome day and congrats to the top finishers!

Dirt Riot made its visit this weekend to Grand Junction, CO for the final round of the mountain/southwest series. The course was fast and there was also plenty of air. Being in such a dry climate made for less than ideal conditions for racing but the drivers pushed through. I would personally like to thank all of the drivers for putting on a great show and all the people who make Dirt Riot happen.
