The WYO131 is a true classic, up there with most unique and original gravel rides like Mid-South, Gravel Unbound, the original Almanzo 100 and the now retired Trans Iowa. This rugged ride is well known for its 5 STAR gravel in the most remote and least densely populated regions of the West. For real cowboys and cowgirls, the 131 mile distance is one of the toughest gravel races in the U.S. with over 10,000 feet of climbing, minimal support and podium prize money!
2022 sees the addition of a 40- mile and a 70- mile route to suit all abilities who want to come soak up some hoodoos, rolling hills, and the sweeping views of Wyoming high desert landscape. All three routes start in the awesome town of Lander, the gateway to the breath-taking Wind River Mountain Range, ranked as one of the best outdoor towns in America. The WYO131 is part of the Wyoming No Champagne Gravel Grinder Series. Male and Female Categories. To participate in the series register for WYO131 131-Mile course and the Battle of the Gravel 97-Mile course (August 28th, 2022). Best combined performance from both races wins. In the event of a tie, the winner will go to the lowest combined total time.
