🏁 Stage 6 is officially underway in Lander! 🐾

This morning, we had the opportunity to pass out race banners and meal donations made possible by the incredible support of our Fremont County community along with family and friends who helped make this stage feel like home.

Thank you for welcoming the Stage Stop to Lander and for showing up in such a meaningful way for our mushers and their teams. We’re thrilled to host two full days of racing and can’t wait to watch it all unfold.

For anyone stressing about the lack of snow around Riverton or Lander just know this: there’s a LOT that goes into making sure this race can happen safely and successfully.

Our trail crews and volunteers have been working hard to groom, pack, and prep the course, and while it may look bare in town, there is snow up on Louis Lake Road where the race takes place.

So don’t let the “no snow” chatter stop you from coming out to support. These mushers and dogs have been training all season for this moment and they deserve a loud crowd to cheer them on!! 🐾💪

Thanks to our title sponsor Mars and the race organization, there’s no cost to attend, and we will have a food truck on site with free coffee, chai, and candy, etc. for spectators.

🐾 Dog Food Donations Needed! 🐾

Our community pet food bank is running low on dog food, and we need your help! 🐶💛 We distribute free pet food to families in need across Fremont County, ensuring beloved pets can stay in their loving homes when the the paycheck doesn't go as far.

We gladly accept any kind of dog food—new bags, open bags, or even older bags that your pup didn’t love. Every donation helps keep pets fed and tails wagging! 🦴🐕

Donations can be dropped off at 120 Chittim Rd, or feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you for supporting pets and families in our community! 🏡🐾
