This year, a brand new award was introduced that will forever hold a special place in the heart of Abundance Academy of Dance: The Kelly O’Shea Legacy Award. 🤍

The 2026 AAD recital was dedicated to Kelly O’Shea, Miss Abby’s beloved dance teacher, who was unexpectedly lost this past January.

Kelly was larger than life. She believed in the power of dance, lifted others up, and inspired generations of students with her endless energy and unwavering commitment to her dance family.

This award was created to honor a dancer who carries that same spirit forward- someone who encourages and inspires others, has a spark for teaching, and demonstrates a deep commitment to dance and the AAD community.

Congratulations to the inaugural recipient, Annabelle Strong.
