The news was just released by USA Today - the Withlacoochee State Trail has been named the #2 Best Recreational Trail in the USA!

Here are the Top 10, according to popular vote:
1. Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail (Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama)
2. Withlacoochee State Trail (Inverness, Florida)
3. Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail (Spokane Valley, Washington)
4. Katy Trail (Missouri)
5. Chessie Trail (Lexington, Virginia)
6. Capital City State Trail (Madison, Wisconsin)
7. South Platte River Trail (Julesburg, Colorado)
8. Ke Ala Hele Makalae (Kauai, Hawaii)
9. Silver Comet Trail (Georgia)
10. Great Allegheny Passage (Maryland and Pennsylvania)
And then there’s every other trail in the entire country, so #2 is pretty darned good!
