New England Tennis Center is a state of the art, program driven sports specific club dedicated to providing its members with superior facilities and services with a commitment to the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices. History
Mike Gardner and Kevin Curley have a combined total of 50 years experience of training players at all levels. Started as XTP, the program ha
s now evolved into the NETC which has grown to accommodating 300+ students throughout the school year, and another 1,000 each summer at the affiliated Nike Tennis Camps at Amherst College, Williams College, and at the Middlesex School. Under the direction of Mike and Kevin, the program has developed into the premier instructional facility in the region, sending countless students to Division I, Division II, and Division III schools to compete on collegiate teams. Quality
The staff at NETC works hard to ensure that all students are given high quality instruction in all aspects of the game. Over the last thirty years, Mike has worked with numerous students who have had great high school, college, and professional careers. Kevin, a former four-year starter and Captain of the UMass-Amherst tennis team, has developed the program alongside Mike, developing countless players over the last fifteen years into highly ranked regional and national players. The two of them have worked together to put together a highly skilled staff and program that ensures every student reaches his or her potential. In the program, students will develop all of the tools necessary to be able to play competitively. This includes work on technique, tactics, mentality, and emotions. We work hard to see improvements in all of these phases of the game in each of our students. Technology
