Ten X Shooting Club

The Ten X Shooting Club will resume its Youth Shooting Program on Friday, September 20th, at its indoor shooting range located at 853 Ransom Road in Lancaster, NY. Shooting begins promptly at 6:30pm and lasts about 2 hours.

The Recreational Marksmanship Program is for shooters ages 9 through 20 and uses air rifles. The Instructional Marksmanship Program is for shooters 12 through 20 and uses 22cal rimfire rifles. Both programs teach proper and safe gun handling and shooting. Shooting takes place every first and third Friday from mid-September through mid-May. Shooters new to the program should arrive by 6:00pm for safety instructions and orientation.

Cost is $8.00 per shooter per evening. Shooters are not required to attend every shoot, just come when they can. A parent or guardian must attend shooters 17 years of age or younger. Membership in the Ten X Shooting Club is encouraged but not required. If you have additional questions please email [email protected].

Thanks to the Buffalo News for mention of the NRA Foundation Grant that our Youth Shooting Program recently received!

Walleye has been added as a category in the fall contest (with a slightly reduced prize structure). All told, more than $153,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs for all contests combined.

TEN X YOUTH SHOOTING PROGRAM CANCELLATION

Please be advised that Friday’s Youth Shooting Program, originally scheduled for January 19th, has been cancelled due to potential weather issues. Our next shoot will be held on February 2nd.

The NTI consists of 10 shots fired in 10 minutes from standing at 200 yards, 10 shots fired rapid-fire from the prone position at 300 yards in 70 seconds, and 10 shots fired in 10 minutes from the prone position at 600 yards. No sighting-in shots allowed.

2022 Indoor Pistol Sectional Team Results:

Twin City Shooting Club: 1,026-12x
Niagara County Sportsmen’s: 1,068-24x
Ten X Shooting Club: 1,072-16x
WNY Outdoor Pistol League: 1,029-12x
