This is what building with AI actually looks like!
Over the last two days, ChatGPT and I exchanged nearly 400 screenshots, troubleshooting and building one step at a time. What started as an idea became a 16-step fully automated production system.
A coach registers through Formsite. Their information and photo are captured automatically. The registration is validated, logged, the photo is stored and processed, the BRAVE Coach Credential is generated from our template, the production log is updated, and the finished files move through the workflow automatically.
No developer sitting next to me. No coding background required. Just a lot of screenshots, questions, testing, mistakes, corrections, and persistence. There is absolutely no way I would have known how to build this on my own. But step by step, we built it.
380+ screenshots. 16 automation steps. Two days..... One working system.....
This is pretty damn cool!
Formsite → filter completed forms → log in Sheets → save photo → make photo accessible → delay → CloudConvert → crop/prepare photo → save processed photo → update log → Google Slides credential template → export credential → save finished file → update log → email notification.
This is a proud story to share because we did not start with a finished automation! We built it screen by screen, tested it, broke things, corrected them, and kept going until it became a real production workflow. We trusted the process!
From the point where we started Option A / Formsite → Zapier, there were over 380 screenshots exchanged in the project thread, including the troubleshooting screens. We went from a blank Zap to the 16-step automation you showed in your latest screenshot.
Time-wise, the build crossed from last night into this afternoon. Chat verified we were already deep into the field-mapping work at 11:14 PM on September 25, and your latest screenshot is from about 2:42 PM September 26. That's already 15½ hours of elapsed time, and we had started before 11:14 PM. So a fair description is roughly 16+ hours elapsed across two days!

And the production system is designed around the 4×6 BRAVE credential and 2-coach duplex printing process we developed earlier
