The range is open! Be advised the road is muddy but can be traveled. Thank you for your patience. Be safe out there!

Road update: Only 4x4 vehicles allowed on the range at this time due to the ice and snow. It is at your own risk ONLY! We do not have any way to pull anyone out if they get stuck. As temperatures begin to increase, the ice will melt and the road will begin to turn to mud and we do want you to continue to exercise caution for the next few days and weeks. Thank you for understanding and for your patience during this winter weather!

It is currently not safe to drive up or down the road to and from the range.

Saturday, October 11th, 2025 from 7pm-10pm, we will be hosting our fourth annual NV & Thermal Demo here at SCR!

No experience needed!
From star gazing to shooting guns under night vision, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

We have added new sponsors, more fi****ms to shoot, and last but certainly not least… A after hours shooting challenge where you BYOG! (Bring your own gear) you heard that right! ⚠️FUTURE RANGE CLOSURES . . .⚠️

The range will be closed Saturday July 26th for a private event….

The range will be closed August 2nd for a range clean up day….

🔸if you are a member and would like to help, let us know! Lunch will be provided.

Whats the plan?

We plan to clear out brush/downed trees, target debris, and landscaping within the range to prepare for new range additions

Whats needed?

A pair of gloves and a sun hat! If you have any landscaping or earth moving equipment, we could definitely use it!

What’s coming to SCR?

New target backers to both the rifle and pistol range for better support of various paper targets you may bring! These backers will be a more permanent solution and should offer a longer lifespan with how much freedom is being sent down range!!! 🇺🇸

New w**d barriers and gravel will be added to each range and all berms will be refreshed in each bay.
